Out-Of-Class Assignment 1
For our first out-of-class assignment in Copywriting, we had a 2-part project. Our first project was to find an ad online, and write a transcript, breaking it down into its dialogue and video direction, with the intention of getting students to be more aware of the way audio and visuals are used to enhance a message. Once that was written out, we were to write a radio spot translation of that ad.

Process
To start, I had an ad in mind. I looked up Keira Knightley's "Cut," a Women's Aid ad that's insanely powerful. I found that it was 2 minutes long, so it would be a bit extensive for transcribing. Luckily, on the side of the video, there was a link to other ads, and I decided to use one of those.

The Original Ad
Client:  Fire Kills Campaign
Writer: Unknown
Length: 00:01:02

With that done, I broke the info down into what elements there are, and picked the parts that could best serve a radio spot.

Result
I think the end result was pretty good, for what I was going for.
